Why Your Attendance Matters
We’ve noticed that some registered participants aren’t showing up without canceling their spots. While plans can change, this affects our ability to serve the community effectively.
Here’s why your participation is so important:
- Waitlist Access – Many eager participants are on waitlists. If you can’t make it, canceling allows others to attend.
- Future Funding – The Arts & Science Council (ASC) and Mecklenburg County evaluate our success based on attendance. Low turnout may impact future support.
- Program Sustainability – Your participation helps ensure these free programs continue for the community.
