What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We don't allow for refunds unless we have to cancel the show. These shows are budgeted tightly to ensure artists are paid competitively while remaining accessible to as wide an audience as we can. Refunding tickets costs us processing fees so we lose money beyond the returned ticket price.

Question 2

What if I don't want to talk to actors?

Accepted Answer

That's totally fine! Actors will respond to your energy and respect your boundaries, they will act to the room and interact with the group, there is no pressure or loss of experience if you just want to observe.

Question 3

Is this a larp?

Accepted Answer

Sort of. The characters and story arc are set, and while the audience is welcome to interact as much or as little as they choose the universe is more limited than a traditional larp. The characters are of the world and audiences are guests in it. That said, you can bring a character to play.

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Shockingly yes! The House of the Seven Gables has it's own free parking on site, so if you can brave and survive the traffic you will have a free, close parking spot. That said, leave early, traffic in Salem is awful, it will take longer than you think to get to us.

Can I take the train to your show?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The House of the Seven Gables is located a mile from the Salem Depot on the Newburyport/Rockport Line out of North Station. Please visit their website at www.7gables.org for more information. We also time our shows as best we can to allow guests to catch the last train out in October.

What is mobility accessibility like at your show?

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of the architecture at The Gables’ campus, our historic house museums are not wheelchair accessible. Our visitor center, restrooms, Colonial Revival gardens, grounds, and a portion of our Museum Store are wheelchair accessible.

Is your show ASL accessible?

How long is the show?

Generally 2 hours, though this fluctuates due to audience engagment which can make the show run a little longer.

Can I dress up?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We are thrilled to be doing our first Daemonologie set in the 20th century so feel free to come in your favorite vintage wear.

Is there seating?

While the show will have you up and moving around the campus of the House of the Seven Gables throughout the night, we provide some seating in every acting space for folks who need it.

What is your Covid policy?

Accepted Answer

Our actors will be testing regularly throughout the run of the show and our crew will be masked. We will encourage audiences to mask as well and will provide masks onsite.

What if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The show will go up in inclement weather unless the Gables deems it unsafe. We will provide any further instructions in the case of rain.

Is it kid friendly?

Accepted Answer

No, is the short answer. While this is not a haunted attraction we will be discussing mature topics dealing with war, class struggle and death. We rate our shows 16+ .
