Can my partner and children watch me play?

Accepted Answer

Due to safety concerns, no children or mothers are allowed on the court. We have an outdoor patio with seats available to waiting families. This area is separated by tall glass window to ensure everyone's safety. However, all children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Can I attend Basketball while my kids attend the other socials?

Accepted Answer

As long as your infants and toddlers have a guardian with them, YES! We encourage the whole family to attend this day so that everyone can have fun during their socials. If your child does not have an adult present with them, you will be asked to stay with them throughout the events.

Can a support person/partner attend with me?

We ask that only men/fathers/sons/grandfathers attend this specific event. We have other social groups available for moms & children. This is a dad support event. Dads can bring 1 additional friend/child over 16yrs of age.

Who can attend this social?

Any father+ 1 support friend. This Support Group is for males/men/fathers only. Currently we are allowing friends/non-parents as well as fathers & sons who are16yrs.+ Please contact our offices if you have any questions.

Will there be childcare?

This specific social is open to fathers, grandfathers, & sons. We do not have additional seating for mothers, infants, or support partners who do not plan to play. For the time being, we ask that all parents find childcare elsewhere as we do not provide any childcare.

What information do I need to provide to attend this workshop?

Name, email, & phone number are required so that we can contact you. Additional info is required to attend event. Additional questions must be filled out prior to attending. This will assist in understanding your eligibility & getting you set up in our material assistance program.

What do I need to bring?

We will provide a ball, air conditioned court, and some water. You are welcome to bring your own ball, snacks, and accessories. Please dress comfortably and ready to play.

Do I have to participate in the break time survey?

The survey is for eligible dads-- either expecting fathers or fathers/guardians of children under 3 years of age. This survey helps Latched Support better serve the fathers in our community. The surveys are anonymous and purely for feedback on the events and what dads want to see more of at Latched.

What if I want to bring my son?

This social welcomes all fathers, however we ask that attendees are 16 yrs.+ Any teens must be accompanied by a legal guardian. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our offices to speak with a Latched Team member.

What type of materials are available for registered attendees?

Accepted Answer

Eligible dads  may receive a dad essentials bag and a pack of diapers after completed survey. Other materials or merchandise may be available for fathers & sons while supplies lasts.
