D-Crit Spring Kickoff Salon + Open Mic

Join us as we return for the Spring semester at SVA D-Crit (MA Design Research, Writing & Criticism)—an evening that’s equal parts salon + open house.

Hear short, lively readings from students, alumni, faculty, and friends of the program: criticism, reporting, research-in-progress, and other works-in-progress—shared in quick sets.

Sip a Sauvignon Blanc, a Stella, or (for the Dry January faithful) a clean, crisp seltzer. We’ll also be doing a little spring-cleaning, with boxes of books, magazines, and assorted ephemera to browse and take home.

Prospective students welcome: this is the last opportunity to receive an $80 application fee waiver. The application deadline is January 15, and we’ll briefly walk through what you need to submit and how to use the remaining time well.
