About this event

Curiosity & Respect Workshop with Dr. Julie Pham

Do you care about raising a respectful child?

It starts with helping your child understand that respect can look different to different people. Dr. Julie Pham, the author of the Amazon best-seller 7 Forms of Respect, will guide you and your child through meaningful conversations around respect and curiosity.

This workshop is for one parent and their middle schooler or high schooler to participate together.

Both the parent and child will get to:

  • Improve their skills in asking questions and listening
  • Learn how to talk about how they want to be treated
  • Bond and connect more with each other
  • Practice critical thinking about what respect means to them

This is not about learning etiquette rules.

You’ll start having conversations that shift how you think about respect and curiosity—conversations you can apply to other relationships. During some of the discussion rounds, parents and children will be intentionally mixed with others to encourage fresh perspectives.

Session options:

  • Sat, Aug 2 or Aug 9 , 9 am to 12 pm for middle schoolers
  • Sat, Aug 2 or Aug 9, 12:30 to 4 pm for high schoolers

Fee: $150 for each parent-child pair for 1 session

You’ll start having conversations that shift how you think about respect and curiosity—conversations you can apply to other relationships. During some of the discussion rounds, parents and children will be intentionally mixed with others to encourage fresh perspectives.

If you have both a middle and high schooler, you could actually attend both sessions—one with each child! Or you could attend one session with one child, and your partner could attend another session with the other child.
