About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

For this durational performance by Young Joon Kwak and Sungjae Lee, a current Queer | Art Mentorship mentor-fellow pair, the two artists cover one another in liquid silicone and invite you to experience the gradual curing process. They begin in the Museum before leading the audience on a procession into the streets to the Stonewall National Monument, ending at sunset and offering a living counter-monument to ongoing trans erasure.
