Culture in Action: Behaviour, Attendance & Personal Development

Culture in Action: Behaviour, Attendance & Personal Development

By Greenshaw Learning Trust

Overview

Make 'belonging' real, not just a buzzword. Discover how to design and deliver outstanding pastoral care and personal development.

The day will consider how colleagues across Greenshaw Learning Trust, particularly at Five Acres High School and Holmleigh Park High School, have created highly effective school cultures. Five Acres High School was recently named a DfE Attendance and Behaviour Hub Lead School, while Holmleigh Park is regarded as a model within GLT for the breadth of its pastoral support and personal development offer.

Hosted by Joe Ambrose, a RISE Adviser for the South West and Associate Director of Strategy at Greenshaw Learning Trust, this focused, high-impact day will explore how leaders have cultivated warm/strict cultures where:

  • Classrooms are disruption-free
  • Behaviour is underpinned by strong relationships between staff and students
  • Targeted pastoral interventions allow all children to thrive
  • Attendance and engagement are high
  • Enrichment opportunities are accessed by every single child
  • Character education is embedded into the curriculum

With an exceptional line-up of speakers, dedicated networking opportunities, and guided tours of the host school, this conference will provide rich insight and meaningful collaboration. You will leave inspired, equipped with practical, actionable strategies to implement immediately in your own setting.

This conference is suitable for Headteachers, Senior Leaders, and Trust Leaders in secondary schools.
