There are (2) Virtual Workshops, each approximately 90 minutes, and (1) in-person VIP Event on campus at Elms College.

Will the workshops be recorded?

No, the workshops will not be recorded. Attendees must be present at the designated time of the workshop.

Who will facilitate the workshop?

Dr. Jahkari Taylor is the President and CEO of Purpose Pushers LLC. Dr. Taylor is a K-12 instructional leader with over 17 years of experience working to increase the student achievement of culturally diverse students. He is the author of the book titled, "Becoming Culturally Responsive Educators."

Do I have to pay for all (3) sessions?

Accepted Answer

No, you have the option of paying for one session, two sessions, or all three sessions.

Question 6

Can I pay for the session under the student rate, if I'm not currently a student at Elms College?

Accepted Answer

No. If a person pays for a ticket under the "student rate" and it is discovered that they are not a student, they will be removed from the workshop and not receive a refund. Students, faculty, and staff from Elms College must register using their Elms email.

Question 7

When will I receive the link to attend the virtual workshop?

Accepted Answer

Each registered attendee will receive an email reminder containing event information and details depending on the package purchased (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). We will send reminder emails leading up to the scheduled event.

Question 8

Can Massachusetts educators earn professional development points (PDPs)?

Accepted Answer
