Introduction
The Cultural Humility Institute, hosted by Allied Path Consulting, is a year-long, virtual program tailored to empower and inspire individuals with engaging sessions and practical coaching. Explore key themes of cultural humility, interpersonal communication skills, dimensions of power, and professional/personal growth, with insights into institutional consistency, developing a cultural humility action plan, and how to apply the Cultural Humility Toolkit.

This series is led by Dr. Veronica Keiffer-Lewis, a 3+ decades Equity and Cultural Humility Practitioner, who also studied under Dr. Melanie Tervalon, co creator of the Cultural Humility Framework, and will be joined by members of the Allied Path Consulting Team.

Meet Dr. Veronica Keiffer-Lewis
Veronica has been working in the field of DEI and cultural humility training and consulting for over thirty years. She was the inaugural equity director at De Anza College, where she led the development of the college’s equity framework, lens, and rubric, in addition to developing infrastructure to deepen institutional equity.
Cultural Humility Practitioner Certificate Year-long Program
This year-long program is tailored for campus colleagues, across all roles and levels, who are committed to student success, shared governance, advancing equity and belonging efforts. The series is designed for participants to attend all learning sessions and coaching sessions, allowing participants to gain greater insights, actionable leadership skills, and resources to drive meaningful change through the application of the Cultural Humility Toolkit.
Program Overview
- Class size is limited to 50 participants for maximum impact and anticipated to fill to capacity
- Six 2-hour learning sessions
- Six 1-hour coaching sessions
- One 2-hour practicum seminar and graduation
- Materials are included in the program fee
- Optional: Discounted attendance to our Cultural Humility TOT (training of trainers) 2-day event!
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the history and four core principles of cultural humility.
- Identify strategies for integrating cultural humility into Higher Education and shared governance.

No, this course is great for everyone and anyone interested in integrating cultural humility principles into shared governance. In our Q&A sessions, we will dive deep into specific applications of these principles for our participants' campuses.
