Learn hands-on how to make maple-roasted squash & kale salad! While Culikid's virtual classes are paced to be accessible for a neurodivergent child, they are open to everyone! All ages and abilities are welcome to join!
This class will involve measuring, slicing, whisking, and using the oven. Adult assistance is suggested if your child or teen needs help with any of the above as well as following verbal directions, staying on task, and initiating tasks. This class will take approximately 1 hour.
Ingredients and supplies needed:
- Cumin
- Coriander
- Garlic powder
- Cinnamon
- Salt
- Pepper
- Butternut squash
- Chickpeas
- Maple syrup
- Olive oil
- Kale
- Apple
- Pecans
- Dried cherries or dried cranberries
- Goat cheese
- Apple cider vinegar
- Dijon mustard
Register once per household (not for each individual). Once you register, you will be sent the Zoom meeting link followed by the full ingredient and supply list. If you have any questions about the class or ingredients you can substitute, email us at info@culikid.org.
