What's a Cuddle Party™?

Cuddle Party™ is a 3 1/2 hour event beginning with a communication and boundaries workshop, followed by open platonic cuddling.

Platonic/Non-Sexual
Yes, we mean that literally. Not a secret code. Not a "wink and a nod". No lines to read between. And whether you think that's a good or bad thing, people are constantly susprised at how awesome and even life-changing platonic cuddling can be - even in relationships between sexual partners. Some people are already comfortable with touch and can’t wait to be in a place where that’s OK. Others are not even sure they want any touch at all, but come to explore the communication skills. Others are just curious about what it might be like. Whatever your reasons, a Cuddle Party is a great playground for discovering more about yourself, for exploring new ways of connecting with others, or simply enjoying a relaxing, cozy evening with other cuddly souls.

Attendees
Most Cuddle Parties (unless otherwise specified) include both women and men of all ages, and are held at private residences in and around the metroplex. They last about 3 ½ hours. If you are interested, I can also arrange/host parties for particular groups or one-on-one. (If it's for a women's group, I would lead the workshop but not participate in the cuddling.)

Tickets
Space is limited and ticket sales will end once we have reached the max number of people. Your ticket reserves your spot. See the refund policy for this event, but even after the refund period expires, they can be transfered another person.

Also, please contact me if finances prevent you from attending. I believe everyone should have access to Cuddle Party, and there may be ways you can help publicize or promote instead.

Time and Location
The exact address will be sent to ticket purchasers before the event.

Promptness
PLEASE BE ON TIME, and account FOR TRAFFIC/PARKING. There is no admittance before posted start time. The workshop portion begins 30 minutes after the posted start time, at which point there is no admittance. (The workshop is where we cover the ground rules and all the things that make this a safe place.) After the event is over, we need to respect our host and clear out. As they say, "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!"

What do I need to bring?

FLUFF!!
Please bring comfortable stuff to cuddle on, for example fluffy blankets, sleeping bags and pillows.

PJ's (OR COMFY CLOTHES)
Cuddle Party™ Rule #1 is Clothes stay on the entire time. Wear comfortable clothes, PJs, shorts and a t-shirt, etc., are ideal for cuddling. You can change at the event if you need to.

SNACKS
Please bring a snack to share, and whatever you want to drink (no alcohol). We will have some finger foods and plenty of filtered water to drink.

SCENTS
PLEASE be as scent free as possible, some people are very sensitive or have allergies to artificial smells. If you forget, please be kind and inform everyone during the welcome circle when you are introducing yourself so that those who are sensitive can have an informed choice ahead of time. (This also applies to tobacco products.)
