This workshop introduces a powerful visual storytelling method that helps young people explore and express their personal experiences, values, and preferences around sex, consent, and pleasure. Using simple colored cubes as a stand-in for feelings and actions, BioGraffs gives young people a playful way to “see” their own sexual scripts for self-understanding and insight. A powerful method in both one-on-one sessions or group settings, educators and counselors can use this tool to foster open, honest conversations about what we want, what our lived experiences are, and what truly matters. Participants will learn how to facilitate the method with young people, using prompts that spark self-reflection. This powerful method is highly adaptable to whatever area of sexual health one is working in, whether it's sexual health and pleasure, consent, gender identity, trauma, or other areas of concern. This unique method helps people understand and articulate their perspectives and preferences and build healthier relationships through better communication.
