CSWEP 2026 Mentoring Breakfast for Junior Economists -1/3/2026

This is the registration page for the junior mentoring breakfast to be held from 8:00-10:00 AM PST on Saturday, January 3, in Liberty Ballroom A&B at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown .

At these informal meet-and-greet events, senior economists will be on hand to provide mentoring and networking opportunities.

Junior economists are invited to drop in with questions on topics such as publishing and research, promotion and tenure, work-life balance, the job market, teaching, grants, and academic versus non-academic jobs. During the event, rotation of mentees is encouraged so that they may have an opportunity to connect with the greatest number of senior mentors.

This mentoring experience is intended for junior economists, of any gender identity, who have completed their Ph.D. in the past seven years, and graduate students who are on the job market. Breakfast will be provided.
