1. All persons using CSUN parking facilities must park in a marked space within the designated parking area, and must display a valid permit appropriate for the space the vehicle is occupying.

2. Daily Parking Permits may be purchased in advance from our Permit Store.

3. Daily Parking Permits may also be purchased once you arrive on campus from a parking permit dispenser or from one of the Information Booths. Both the parking permit dispensers and Information Booths accept cash and credit cards to purchase your daily parking permit. For your convenience, Visa and MasterCard are now accepted at all locations where daily parking permits are sold. Generally, at least one information booth is open between the hours of 7:00 a.m - 9:00 p.m. Sunday - Saturday.

Dr. Sandy Green - Professor of Strategy @ CSUN & Managing Partner @ Blockchain Investment Group, LLC

Dr. Green studies the role of rhetoric in markets and corporations. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Management Communication Quarterly, and Journal of Management Inquiry.

Panelist Information

1. Dawn Newton - Co-Founder and COO @ Netki

Dawn is a technology startup veteran with over twenty years of experience building teams at innovative companies leading to successful exits. She grew support operations leading to a multi-billion-dollar IPO at NetZero/United Online. Prior to NetZero, she managed technology teams at Microcom (acquired by Compaq), and InterAccess (acquired by Allegiance Telecom). She is currently the Co-Founder and COO of Netki, a blockchain solutions provider focused on digital identity and regulatory compliance.

Dawn recently spoke at TEDx Los Angeles on the challenges facing women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). She was named one of L.A.’s Women of Influence by the Business Journal and one of the Power Women in FinTech by InnoTribe’s Bridging the Gender Gap report. She currently serves on the Boards of The Threshold Foundation and BitGive, as well as being an advisor to the award-winning newspaper, The National Observer.

2. Harry Goodnight - Executive Advisor @ Sweetbridge, Inc.

Harry Goodnight brings over 30 years of domestic and international experience in sales, marketing and supply chain management for companies ranging from $10 million to over $10 billion. Harry has consistently exceeded personal revenue goals while building and leading high-performance sales and marketing teams for companies such as SAP, E2open, and i2. Harry is a pioneering creator and implementer of value-based sales methodologies, which quantify business value and metrics plans for a customer’s product and service offerings, specify the value delivery plans to achieve these benefits and track a customer’s value performance to the plan. At i2, the successful use of this methodology helped i2 grow from $10 million to over $1 billion in just six years. Harry also has consulted with several companies on best practices to employ value-based methods, including Deloitte & Touche, PwC, Accenture, BearingPoint and Tatum LLC. Besides enhancing revenues and margins for customers with value-based methods, Harry has built successful sales, consulting and product marketing organizations for enterprise software companies. At i2, Harry started as one of five industry consultants and built a sales consulting organization of over 500 supply chain management experts worldwide in six years. Harry earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley, California, and a Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Mathematics from California State University, Northridge.

3. A. Michael Smith - Internal Technology Audit Services Leader @ PwC

Partner in charge of the Internal Technology Audit Solutions practice within the Financial Services sector and the Blockchain Assurance practice national.

4. Chris Kline - COO @ Bitcoin IRA

Chris Kline serves as co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Bitcoin IRA. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the retirement investment company’s operations, partnerships, and product innovation.

Previously, Chris launched the Fortress Gold Group in 2012 and served as Director of Operations. Chris drove the operations strategy and execution that lead to the company becoming an Inc 500 leading provider in gold and silver for IRAs. Following his success in precious metals, he was challenged to develop a way for individuals to directly invest in Bitcoin for retirement.

In March of 2015, Chris successfully launched Bitcoin IRA, the world’s first company allowing investors to purchase Bitcoin for their IRA and 401(k) retirement accounts. He developed the process and partnerships to create a full-service, turnkey solution allowing investors to capitalize on the rapidly growing digital currency marketspace for their retirement portfolio while maintaining full IRS compliance. Under his direction, the company has grown to over $100 million in assets under custodianship.

Chris has also recently expanded the company’s product line offering Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) for retirement investment.

A graduate of The University of Colorado, Boulder, he holds a degree in International Finance and Leadership. Chris resides with his family in the greater Los Angeles area.

5. Bradley Kohn—Global Community Director @ Superbloom

Bradley Kohn is an investor, consultant, community builder and event producer in the blockchain industry with a patent application in process.

Originally from London, England, he grew to prominence in the UK and US music industries as a multi-platinum awarded record producer and music creative. After 19 years in entertainment, he switched to the blockchain vertical, recognizing it’s incredible potential for creating and shaping a sustainable future.

Working with Superbloom he has, in a short matter of months, produced events in Tel Aviv, London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, has spoken at The World Blockchain Solutions Forum and at The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, is an advisor to a number of Blockchain companies and continues to be a point person and resource for people in the industry and companies and businesses looking to enter the space.

His main projects and interests with blockchain technology revolve around:

He is aligning and building to help usher human evolution.

6. Frank E. Banks - Founder, CEO & CTO @ Zen

Frank is a veteran software engineer and technologist with over 20 years of professional programming experience, including a stint as a Lead Systems Engineer at Zynga from 2008 to 2010. He is the core developer at General Presence Inc. and the creator of both ZEN and our previous app Zeme, a successful video editing app for fandom video creators launched in 2014 that has over 250,000 downloads. He has also served as Chairman and sole director since corporate inception in 2011. “Frank is from our crack squad of late-night warriors who scaled the popular Mafia Wars game on Facebook from zero to millions of daily players. He is tirelessly curious to study the outcome that his business and users need, and he will walk through fire to deliver it. 7. Manuel Amaya — Co-Founder & CEO @ Motive Ventures

A data scientist by trade with a passion for entrepreneurship dating back to 2012. His data science expertise focuses on predictive pricing and recommendation systems. He most recently worked at MetaX and helped launch their ICO, Adtoken, which generated 10 million in 23 seconds.

Dr. James Dow -Professor of Finance @ CSUN

Dr. James Dow received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 1987 and joined the Finance Department at CSUN in 2002. Before coming to CSUN, he worked as an economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. His research interests are in household financial management and the institutional economics of financial structure. His teaching interests include investments, general finance and the management of financial institutions.
