About this Event
Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) is partnering with Hexagon-STEM to bring you a Hour of Code virtual workshop for elementary school students!
*THIS SESSION IS SUITABLE FOR 3RD, 4TH, AND 5TH GRADERS*
Attendees will learn basic coding skills and concepts through celebrating the lives and achievements of Black Women in STEM History.
Hour of Code is focused on getting more students of color involved in coding and other sciences in an exciting way!

This Hour of Code event is being hosted by nonprofit Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link (SEM Link) and Hexagon-STEM during Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek).
CSEdWeek is an annual celebration dedicated to inspiring K-12 students to engage in computer science. Originally conceived by Computing in the Core coalition, Code.org organizes CSEdWeek as a grassroots campaign supported by 350 partners and 100,000 educators worldwide.
