CS WORKSHOP - AERIAL DRONE FOR K-12 EDUCATORS

Time: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Doors open @ 8 am
Get your students flying! Join the REC Foundation for a one-day, hands-on Aerial Drone Educator Workshop designed to prepare middle and high school teachers to launch and lead competitive Aerial Drone teams for the 2025–26 school year.
Hosted at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, this workshop will provide you with the tools, knowledge, and resources to confidently launch and lead your own Aerial Drone team throughout the competition season.

These items, valued at $3,500 are grant items from REC Foundation and will be sent to you after you complete your team registration on the REC Foundation website (www.recf.org). Grants are limited to new teams only
Eligibility Requirements - To qualify for equipment and registration incentives, participants must:
- Coach a middle or high school teams
- Register 3 new student teams for the Aerial Drone Competition
- Commit to participating in at least one drone event during the 2025–26 season
- Attend the full workshop on August 12th at Rose-Hulman
Note: These grants are limited to new teams only
Important Notes:
- Lodging and mileage will not be covered
- To help things run smoothly, we encourage participants to complete their background checks in advance using this link: [Sterling Volunteers: https://app.sterlingvolunteers.com]. If not completed before the workshop, facilitators can walk you through the process on site.
- Registration is required and space is limited.

- Provisional Registration - All registrations are considered provisional. Submitting the form does not guarantee a spot.
- RSVP Notification - You will receive an RSVP or confirmation email from the program organizer if you have been selected to participate.
- Confirm Your Spot (if selected) - Follow the instructions in the confirmation email to secure your place in the workshop.
