Gina Moore: Founder of Pluff Mud Mercantile & Creative Force Behind SoulMakes Warehouse
Gina Moore’s journey began with a vision to create a space where the charm of Southern craftsmanship and the soul of artisanal work could come together. As the founder of Pluff Mud Mercantile, a beloved shop rooted in Lowcountry heritage, Gina has long been known for her eye for unique, handmade goods and her passion for preserving the traditions of her community. With a deep respect for Southern culture, the mercantile quickly became a local hub for artisans, makers, and those who appreciate the authenticity of locally sourced products.
As the mercantile grew, so did Gina’s desire to offer more to the creative community. She recognized a need for spaces where people could not only shop, but learn—spaces where hands-on workshops and events could nurture the next generation of creators, and also celebrate the rich traditions of craftsmanship. This spark led to the creation of SoulMakes Warehouse in collaboration with Pluff Mud Mercantile.
With SoulMakes Warehouse, Gina brought together an eclectic group of artists, educators, and innovators to offer a wide range of workshops, events, and creative experiences. From pottery classes to textile arts, sustainable crafting, and even local food and beverage pairings, these offerings are designed to foster a deeper connection between creators and their craft. SoulMakes Warehouse represents more than just a space—it’s an evolving community where people from all walks of life can come together to explore their creative potential and share in the joy of making.
Under Gina’s guidance, SoulMakes Warehouse has expanded its offerings to include pop-up markets, artist showcases, seasonal festivals, and immersive experiences that highlight both local talent and the rich cultural tapestry of the Lowcountry. Whether it’s crafting with natural materials, learning about heritage preservation, or simply connecting with others through shared creativity, SoulMakes Warehouse is becoming a cornerstone of artistic expression in the region.
Gina’s work is driven by the belief that creativity has the power to heal, connect, and inspire. Her mission continues to be to provide a platform where people can reconnect with their roots, learn new skills, and discover the beauty of intentional making. With every workshop and event, Gina’s vision for a more vibrant, artistic community continues to evolve—one that honors the past while embracing the future of Southern craftsmanship.
