Not fully. While inspired by blind-map games that originated megagames, some features of typical megagames won't be present (freeform actions, control led narratives, etc.) However, the game will still feature asymmetric knowledge, real-time play, and large players counts typified by megagames.

I've never played Crowned in Starlight or Twilight Imperium before. Is that alright?

Of course! This game is a reworked version of Twilight Imperium that inspired it, but previous experience in unnecessary. Rules will be taught beforehand.
