Crossings Commemoration Dinner
Come join us for a special evening at the Leif Erikson Hall as we commemorate the historical crossings that have shaped our community.
Join Sons of Norway Leif Erikson Lodge, the Norwegian Commercial Club, and the Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association on October 9, Leif Erikson Day, the same date 53 Norwegians arrived in New York City Harbor from Stavanger on the sloop Restauration 200 years ago.
This festive evening includes a full-course “Slooper-inspired” Chicken Madeira dinner (vegetarian option available) by On Safari Foods, a signature welcome drink, wine service, and a no-host bar. Refreshing non-alcoholic options offered.
There will be live entertainment with star fiddler Rachel Nesvig and friends, a special Crossings program with highlights from the reenacted voyage of the Restauration, and a Norwegian-themed silent auction. With a roster of distinguished guests in attendance, it will be an evening to remember!
