Cross-Faculty Connections: Growing Networks and Building Opportunities
Overview
You are invited to an exciting cross-faculty day jointly hosted by both the Science and Humanities & Social Sciences (HaSS) Faculties at the University of Strathclyde, with a special focus on learning from the University’s vast expertise in research for and about children and young people, and applying it to support a child-focus in our science faculty research.
This outcome-focused session builds on the activities of the Strathclyde as a Place of Expertise on Children and Young People Intiative and May's Showcase Event. It will harness the collective expertise across the Strathclyde community in science, innovation, research, participatory methods and teaching, to spark new ideas, collaborations, and projects with children and young people at their heart.
Why attend?
- Explore opportunities for joint research, funding bids, and income generation.
- Share your work and connect with colleagues across faculties and disciplines.
- Shape future projects for children and young people that combine scientific innovation with social impact.
- Build networks that strengthen Strathclyde’s interdisciplinary research culture.
This is an outcome focussed strategic session, to both identify collaborative opportunities and develop actionable plans to secure funding for impactful research.
