Whether you're just starting or eager to master advanced techniques, Rise offers patient, personalized guidance to help you achieve your goals.

Skills You’ll Learn:

  • Crochet Basics: Understanding hooks, yarn types, fibers, and reading patterns
  • Techniques: Mastering chains, magic rings, and foundational stitches (single, half-double, and double crochet)
  • Intermediate Stitches: V-stitch, alpine stitch, and corner-to-corner crochet
  • Advanced Techniques: Tapestry crochet, graph making, amigurumi, and swatching
  • Project Creation: Bags, hats, amigurumi, and more

Event Details:

When: In person on Saturdays & Sundays.

Where: Downtown Atlanta. Lessons are held in a private suite within a secure coworking space. Amenities include restrooms, free coffee, filtered water, free Wi-Fi, and an elevator.

Please note that all parking in downtown Atlanta is paid parking. Creations by Rise is not responsible for parking tickets or booting resulting from improper parking.

Due to safety and security concerns, the exact location will not be shared here. After booking, you will receive a Google Doc with the location details and additional information.

What Happens After You Book?

  1. You’ll receive a link to a Google Doc form containing a questionnaire and the location details.
  2. Rise will reach out to confirm any additional information needed to tailor the session to your needs.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring any materials or supplies?

For in-person classes, you can bring your supplies or have Rise provide them for you. Please select your preference when purchasing your tickets. Supplies provided by Rise include a standard 5.00 mm crochet hook and one skein of worsted-weight yarn. Please note that yarn colors may vary.

What skill levels do you teach?

Rise specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate crocheters. If you are an advanced crocheter, these lessons may not align with your needs.

Can children participate in this class?

Children as young as 10 are welcomed as long as they are accompanied by an adult the entire duration of the hour session. Caregivers are encouraged to bring their laptop or a book to enjoy while in the coworking space.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You may request a refund within 24 hours of booking. After that cancelations can not be honored due to the scarcity of time slots.
