We’ll start at the very beginning — learning how to hold your yarn and hook, create a slip knot, and make a foundation chain, the base of nearly every crochet project. From there, you’ll move on to mastering the single crochet stitch, one of the most versatile and commonly used stitches in crochet.
By the end of class, you’ll understand the groundwork needed to count stitches and move on to more advanced techniques like the half double crochet and double crochet.
Intro to Crochet — You’ll Learn How To:
- Hold the yarn and hook
- Create a slip knot
- Make a foundation chain using the chain stitch
- Work the single crochet (SC) stitch
