About this event
Educators asked for hands-on support in exploring AI tools, and we heard you. Join Indigitize every Tuesday in July for five interactive, lunch-hour session designed to help you test AI tools—not just take them.
This series is built for educators who want to explore practical applications of AI with curiosity and caution. Each session offers a guided “test-drive” of tools that support teaching, planning, and learning—while keeping a critical eye on safety, privacy, and the responsible use of AI with Indigenous students.
Come to all five sessions or just drop in when you can. Each stands alone, and you’ll leave with something useful no matter when you join.
Each session will focus in on a different tool:
- July 1: Canva's Magic Studio AI
- July 8: ChatGPT
- July 15: Teachable Machine
- July 22: Character.AI (an AI "friend")
- July 29: Scratch AI Extensions
