Nancy Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American Chef, and owner of Beaucoup NYC. Nancy was practically born in the kitchen, her grandmother ran a pho/soup business in the forefront of the family house in Mytho, Vietnam, where Nancy was born. Her family immigrated to the US in the 80s with her father working in Chinese restaurants of NYC to raise to two daughters. Chef Nancy inherited generations of culinary skills that began with rice and ramen making at the young age of eight. With passed down kitchen skills and passion, Nancy continued her culinary journey by running a catering business for 8yrs in Philadelphia, doing many corporate events and special occasions. Chef Nancy honed Asian food production by working in her aunt’s pho restaurant called iPho. Before the pandemic, she worked the line doing shifts in NYC at Greenpoint Heights and other restaurants, including menu design and consultation work for Just Pho You, Viet eatery in UWS, then in 2020 created Beaucoup NYC, a modern Vietnamese food concept that includes Pop-Ups, private catered events and now cooking classes. Beaucoup honorabley received a Michelin mention 4 months into the Banh Mi pop up time in Brooklyn.
With a rather solid culinary background, Nancy reaches for more stars and into the world of fine-dining. Chef Nancy spent over a year at one of the best restaurants in the world currently a three-Michelin, at Eleven Madison Park, winning cook battle summer of 2022, the yearly cooking competition amongts over 40 chefs in the kitchen. Nancy has traveled the world and lived in places such as Tokyo, Mexico, and takes yearly trips to Vietnam and other countries, to keep her palette diverse and innovative.
Chef Nancy now continues her culinary career by crafting her own creative menus with global influences from Vietnam, Japan and France. During her free time, she is an avid buddhist and enjoys family time and archery.
