Crescent City Chamber Music Festival Tenth Anniversary Season Finale Concert - Escher Quartet and Friends

The Crescent City Chamber Music Festival (CCCMF) proudly celebrates its Tenth Anniversary Season this year with the fitting theme of "Novelty and Nostalgia." This milestone season will feature seven Free Public Concerts from October 10 – 19, 2025, offering a vibrant mix of popular performers and pieces from CCCMF’s first nine seasons and exciting new artists and presentations.

In CCCMF’s Tenth Anniversary Season Finale Concert, the Escher Quartet is joined by CCCMF Founding Artistic Director Luke Fleming and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Clarinetist Shaquille Southwell for newly composed works by American composers Chris Rogerson and Seth Grosshandler, concluding with Johannes Brahms’ brawny and brilliant String Quintet in G minor (originally intended to be his final composition).

Join us in the historic sanctuary of Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church, and meet the Artists at the reception that follows!

CCCMF Founding Artistic Director Luke Fleming leads an informal Pre-Concert Talk and Q&A at 3:30 PM.

This is a free concert and no tickets are required.
