About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Connect with your own creativity and other people in your community. This workshop is an opportunity to reflect on experiences of loneliness and connection through conversation, theater games and writing. Community engaged theater maker Jessica Bauman will lead fun and joyous theater exercises, then facilitate a group conversation about experiences of both loneliness and resilience. How do we build and keep connections? We will end with a writing prompt and an opportunity to share writing with the group. The conversation will be recorded, and may be used in developing a theater piece about connection.

DOROT is a non-profit social service agency that provides life-enhancing programs and services for adults 60 and older to help them live independently as valued members of the community.
