A 90 minute workshop meant to gently (but powerfully) awaken and nourish the inner artist child. Using the Artist's way, River will guide students through techniques tried and true to shake and stir inner debris blocking us from tapping into our most creatively free selves. Opportunities to indulge in include: a short guided meditation, birth chart reading, time and space to let your inner artist child free through guided activities, a question and answer session, and of course — delicious tea, snacks, and refreshments to keep us creating.
Join us wearing something that makes you feel the most yourself! Bring something comfortable to sit on and your favorite journal and pen. If youre interested in a birth chart reading, bring your time/date/location of your birth.
River Ernestine is the face behind River Honey Studios: a multifaceted creative amoeba born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. With roots in the visionary arts community as a live painter and her experiences with worldwide travel, homelessness, grief, poverty, ACEs/trauma, and addiction, she seeks to connect meaningfully and mindfully with her clients and art. Currently, River is pursuing a tattoo apprenticeship, and experiments with creative filmmaking on her Youtube channel. Future aspirations include a Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy, and a Masters in Counseling.
