Creative Mini Album Workshop

Unlock your creativity and discover the joy of slowing down through art and self-expression. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to combine paint, collage, and mixed-media techniques to create pages that reflect your thoughts, emotions, and personal style. Art journaling gives us space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with our creativity in a mindful, meaningful way.

As adults, we often forget how important play is for our well-being. This workshop is a chance to rediscover that playful spirit—experimenting with colors, textures, and images without pressure or expectation. We’ll also explore how to upcycle everyday materials—like cereal and grocery boxes—into journal covers and sturdy bases, giving new life to items you already have at home.

Along the way, Ruthie will share tips, tricks, and techniques such as:

• Turning grocery boxes into covers and foundations for your art journals
• Building layered backgrounds with paint and collage
• Adding texture with paper weaving and fabric scraps
• Using affirmations or journaling prompts to spark ideas
• Incorporating found or personal papers into your pages
