About this event
This all-levels abstract course will explore the use of chalk pastels on newsprint grade paper. Together with teaching artist John Rutkauskas, the class will focus on lines, composition, contrast, and blending.
The course will meet at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 for 5 weeks. Classes will occur on 1.24, 1.31, 2.7, 2.14, 2.21.
This class is offered by Creative Aging in partnership with the Dixon Museum and Gardens. Classes are for Shelby County, Tennessee residents age 65+.
