Creating Trans and Nonbinary Inclusive Healthcare/Clinical/Support Environments

This interactive workshop will help healthcare providers and supportive care professionals to increase fluency with transgender and gender nonbinary inclusive concepts, terminology, and practices. Participants will learn and practice approaches for making healthcare and supportive environments and systems all-genders affirming. Participants will identify specific opportunities for and challenges to inclusivity in their practice or organization context. Participants will leave with broader knowledge of gender nonconforming youth topics, methods for recognizing gaps in inclusivity, and ideas for how to apply affirming practices to fill those gaps.
