Event description

Description

How can you ensure that your messages resonate widely and build meaningful connections?

Stories are among the most effective ways to communicate. Storytelling can help your organization increase its impact in areas including board development, audience engagement, fundraising and even staff recruitment. Join us for a hands-on lunchtime workshop with Daria Torres, a strategy consultant and leader of the Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia’s Equity in Philanthropy Cohort, and Susan Tabor-Kleiman, a persuasive communication consultant and MBA lecturer.

Through discussion and interactive exercises, you will explore the “Principles of Resonant Stories” and practice using this framework to enhance your messaging and transcend the limits of “narrow-tives.” This session will use concrete examples of inclusive storytelling and provide actionable ideas to improve your connection with many different constituencies.
