Description

Messages that Matter: Tapping in to what audiences value

Deepening relevance in our communities, building lasting relationships with audiences and stakeholders, and rooting our messages and experiences in public values are critical activities for arts and cultural organizations across the country.

Join Arts Midwest’s Creating Connection team for a data-driven session that unpacks the values that inspire people to participate in arts, culture, and creativity, and explores the messages and experiences that matter most to audiences. This session will share a growing body of research around the intersection of creativity and public values, and offer tangible messaging strategies, tools, and real-time examples aimed at helping you attract and retain audiences and connect more deeply with your communities.

Work in tandem with your artistic, marketing, and executive team during this session, and be prepared for hands-on learning that you can take back to your organization to start exploring how your offerings can tap in to the values and motivations of diverse stakeholders. Participants will leave with inspiration from the power of collective learning and new ideas to get started.

You are encouraged to bring any physical or digital marketing materials that your organization uses including brochures, flyers, etc.

Breakfast will be available at 8:30am with the workshop beginning at 9am. There is no cost to attend but RSVP is required.
