Creating Anti-Racist Spaces: Supporting Individuals in Building Equitable and Inclusive Environments for Engagement

This interactive workshop will explore the ways that inequity resides in professional environments through seemingly race-neutral policies and practices. Participants will discuss promising practices for designing and implementing anti-racist spaces, transformative diversity, and equitable and inclusive professional environments. Participants will discuss how to have productive conversations about current events, such as police brutality and Black Lives Matter. Additionally, participants will learn about ways to use PGAAMCC as a resource to further develop these concepts into pedagogy.

What does the cost of my ticket cover?

This event is run by staff at PGAAMCC. All ticket proceeds directly fund their educational programming. Light refreshments and Eventbrite fees are being donated by SURJ Green Line members. You can add an extra donation on the ticket page to help cover fees or to cover the cost of a ticket for someone who needs payment assistance.
