This session will review data, strategies, tips and resources for inclusion in your schools for students with disabilities. Strategies will include how to be inclusive when implementing STEM, STEAM, or any activity-- based learning lessons in your classrooms.

In this session, learn how students are working through the design thinking process with guidance from a school librarian and/or district technology coordinator to create books and games for visually impaired students with tactile and audio features using items found in most makerspaces, libraries, and classrooms. You will learn about no tech to high tech resources such as wikki sticks, braille slate and stylus, textured paper, 3D pens, free Tinkercad 3D software, 3D printer, and Pictures in a Flash (PIAF) machine. Resources will be shared to replicate and you will have an opportunity to build your network and community to learn how your students and/or you can create to ensure all students have optimal learning environments.
