Brand experience is a term used in the business world, but has many implications for libraries and their services. Brand experience encompasses not just the visual aspects of your library, but the story and culture of your library. For this workshop, you are encouraged to bring along flyers, print advertisement, examples of your services and programming, and a link to your library's website. We will take a look into how your staff, service, and image create your brand experience. Attendees will look at some examples of created experiences, deconstruct them and look to create their own.

Tom and Lyn Morse-Brown are founders of Morse-Brown Creative and provide brand development and graphic design services to entrepreneurs and businesses, locally, nationally and internationally. They work by listening to the heart and passion of their clients to identify what they want to achieve. From there they create rich verbal and visual style that informs the creation of beautiful graphics and tailored experiences to engage clients and build relationships. Essentially, they work from the inside-out.

Tom holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and a National Diploma in Graphic Design from Stafford College in the UK. He has 20 years experience working for design agencies, large corporations, and non profits. He has held the role of Creative Director, is an adjunct professor with the Kansas City Art Institute and frequently teaches workshops on brand development and design.
