Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to include math and science into the classroom and why it is important. Through conversation, planning and activities participants will leave ready to be successful at providing a more math and science rich classroom.

Training Objectives:

1 .Participants will create a list of math and science materials, including two from each category.

2 .Participants will create a list of questions to ask in the math and science centers.

3 . Participants will use ideas gained in training to create two activities to use in their classrooms, one math and one science.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
