About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us for a hands-on terrarium-making experience led by Renee Bailey, founder of joiFUL and retired visual art teacher with over 30 years of experience. Renee brings a passion for creativity, self-expression, and turning vintage treasures into meaningful everyday art. Her workshops are engaging, playful, and rooted in a deep appreciation for both art and nature.

Perfect for ages 10 and up, this workshop offers a chance to slow down, get creative, and build something truly one-of-a-kind.

You’ll select a glass vessel and build your own self-sustaining ecosystem, layer by layer—starting with pebbles, charcoal, and soil, then adding plants, rocks, hardscape elements, and a whimsical character to bring it all to life.

No green thumb needed. These terrariums are low-maintenance and only need occasional care. Whether you're coming for the creativity, the calm, or the chance to take home a beautiful living piece of art—this workshop is a summertime treat.

By attending, you’re also supporting joiFUL, a local small business dedicated to bringing more creativity and connection to our community through artful experiences.
