Dive into creativity with this hands-on workshop led by local favorite artist Caasi of Caasi Lee Designs, known for her stunning ocean resin pieces. Now it’s your turn to craft your own!
Using table-top resin, you’ll learn how to make waves and create TWO beautiful, one-of-a-kind glasses, perfect for gifting (or keep for yourself!). Start with clear glasses mounted on a rotary turner, then blend colors to create the depth of the ocean and finish with crashing waves.
A live demo will walk you through the process before you get started on your own project. To practice each participant will have a small board to get the feel of working with resin and your tools.
All materials are included in the workshop fee. Includes two glasses and a small practice board.
NOTE: You are welcome to bring a buddy and split the registration fee amongst yourselves. Each station will be making two glasses.

✔️Project items will not be able to leave with you. Table-top resin takes about 5-7 days to cure. You can pickup your projects as early as 11/20 or have them shipped to you for $10.
About the Artist
Caasi is a lifelong creative, born into a family of Makers and now known for her vibrant ocean resin art that blends the cool calm of the Pacific Northwest with a hint of tropical flair. She lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, 12-year-old twin boys, and their Cavalier King Charles pup, River. Nearly two years ago, Caasi and her business partner, Salena Ausburn, opened Local Whimsy, a charming boutique on Gig Harbor’s historic waterfront. What began as selling her work at markets and local shops has grown into a community-centered space built to Gather ~ Create ~ Shop. Inside Local Whimsy, you’ll find a curated selection of locally made goods and small businesses, all rooted in creativity and connection.
