It’s a journey into paper making! I'm Lyndi Perry, proprietor of Woodsy Art Cafe and passionate local creator. Catch my my enthusiasm for a material we all take for granted and elevate your own art with custom pages you can make yourself with some simple techniques and a little practice. You will learn:
-How to make a basic batch of paper pulp
-How to use a mold and deckle to form sheets
-How simple processing of natural materials can enhance your paper pulp
-Tips for using paper you created
You will receive:
-Your own mold and deckle
-Technical inks for creating colorful wicking patterns
-A brush pen for calligraphy or adding fine lines to your work
-A sample of paper I've created from different plants for inspiration and experimentation
You will create:
-A set of pages from a batch of pulp we'll mix together!
-A work of experimental art from the sample pages I'll provide
