Join us for an inspiring evening of photography, creativity, and connection at The Dreamery Collective in Historic Downtown St. Cloud. This hands-on workshop features two guided portrait lighting sessions with a female fashion model and a mature male model, plus open shooting time and networking. Whether you're refining your lighting techniques or expanding your portfolio, this event is perfect for photographers and models alike.
Your instructor for the evening is Angela Perez, an award-winning photographer recognized as a Sony Alpha Female+ Grant Winner, 1st Place Winner at the Sony World Photography Awards, and 500px Ambassador. Angela's work has been featured in prominent press outlets and widely recognized publications.

Yes! There is free on-street parking available directly in front of and near the studio.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to shoot inside the studio with our professional lighting setups or outdoors in Historic Downtown St. Cloud. The area offers a great variety of textures, colors, and backdrops for portraits.
We’ll be using Godox monolight flashes and speedlights in the studio. Bring your own trigger if you'd like to use our lighting setups. We have master speedlights available to borrow for Sony and Canon shooters only. You're also welcome to bring your own lighting gear if you prefer.
Bring your camera, favorite lenses, and any props or gear you love to shoot with. Don’t forget your trigger if you plan on using the studio lights!
Space is limited! The studio can only accommodate 20 attendees. RSVP is required to reserve your spot. If you RSVP and later find you can't make it, please update your RSVP so another creative can take your place. Please do not RSVP if you do not plan to attend.
Yes, and we encourage it! Model friends can RSVP and take part in the Open Shooting & Networking portion (8:15–9:00 PM). They’ll also benefit by observing how two professional models pose and directed by photographers during the workshop.
Yes! This event is powered by Aftershoot, and we’ll be giving away exclusive Aftershoot swag. You’ll definitely want to stick around for that!
This event is open to ages 14 and up. Please note: the studio is not a safe space for small children due to expensive and delicate equipment on-site. Thank you for understanding.
Water and light refreshments will be available. Arrive early to find parking and get settled before our 6:00 PM start. Be ready to connect, collaborate, and have fun in a relaxed, inspiring space!
