Laguna Beach artist Sonja Krastman invites you to a one-of-a-kind art workshop where you’ll paint your own 1’×4’ hand-painted banner—just like the ones that line the streets of Laguna Beach each summer. Choose from Sonja’s signature John the Seagull, a scenic Heisler Park template, or bring your own idea to life with her expert coaching. These quarter-scale banners are easy to roll up and take home—perfect for visitors, families, and anyone craving a creative day with friends and family!

Create your own hand-painted banner in a unique art workshop with a featured artist from Laguna’s famous Banner Project.

What we’ll do:

Join me, one of this year’s selected Banner Artists, for a relaxed and inspiring workshop where you’ll design and hand-paint your own mini banner—just like the ones that fly above Laguna Beach each summer.

I’ll guide you through design inspiration, painting and gridding techniques, and finishing touches. You'll leave with a beautiful banner you created yourself—ready to hang and treasure.

What I’ll provide: All banner materials and paints, Protective apron, Light refreshments, Creative support and a lot of encouragement!

Workshops are great for couples, families, solo adventurers, or anyone seeking a creative, fun, Laguna beach inspirted experience.
