Creatives in the Kirkcaldy Area – Let’s Get Together! 🎨✨

We’re partnering with CodeBase and Business Gateway Fife to bring you OnFife's Create in Kirkcaldy event, designed to connect and inspire local creatives like you!

Join us in Adam Smith Theatre on the last Wednesday of every month (Feb–Nov) for an evening of inspiration, learning, and networking. Whether you’re an artist, musician, designer, freelancer, or just starting out, this is your chance to meet like-minded creatives and build a community for you.

This is more than just a one-off event — it’s a growing programme where each month builds towards something bigger. While you’re welcome to dip in and out of sessions, there’s real value in coming along regularly to build connections and gain momentum. It all leads up to our Creative Soup event in November — where you’ll have the opportunity to pitch your creative business, idea, or project for a chance to win funding.

Not interested in the main event? No problem — the Design Suite will be open for you to chill out, work on your projects, or simply network with others in a more relaxed space.

We’re keeping the sessions accessible, so children, dogs, and caring responsibilities are all welcome!

Create in Kirkcaldy Event Schedule:

5:30 – 6:00 pm: Free pizza and drinks to get you started and a chance to mingle! 🍕🍻
6:00 – 7:00 pm: The main event (workshops, talks, discussions, or activities)
7:00 – 7:30 pm: Pass the Mic and have another opportunity to mingle. A chance to share your upcoming projects, ask for support, or connect with the right people. Afterwards, stick around to chat, exchange thoughts, and network with fellow creatives.

Learn how to gather insights to make smarter, more informed decisions for your creative work.

June: Build Your Brand with Badbish Design
Discover the essentials of building a unique, memorable brand with expert advice from Badbish Design.

July: Brand Photography with Zoghogg
Find out how to create stunning visuals that truly represent your brand.

August: Digital Marketing
Boost your online presence with tips and tricks to market your work effectively.

September: Public Speaking and Pitching
Learn how to present yourself and your ideas confidently and compellingly.

October: Group Crit
Share your work in a supportive environment and get constructive feedback from fellow creatives.

November: Creative Soup
Our final session of the year is a ticketed event in the Beveridge Suite. Join us for a shared meal, listen to project pitches from creative practitioners and cast your vote for your favourite idea. The winning project takes home the ticket sales! Tickets will be on sale for this event soon!

This programme is open to anyone connected to Kirkcaldy’s creative scene. You’re welcome to stay for the entire session or pop in for an hour and we hope you can join every session but feel free to dip in and out.
