Join us for a 4-session virtual class series focused on nutrition, exercise, and how to be healthy on a budget. This series includes 2 classes per week for 2 weeks and will be taught over zoom, so people from all locations across Utah are welcome to attend. This class is run by Create Better Health, which is Utah's food security and nutrition hub.
Webinar topics include:
Meeting 1: Introduction to MyPlate, Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, Easy Veggie Quesadilla recipe demonstration
Meeting 2: Nutrition Facts Label, Overcoming barriers to physical Activity, Quick pancake dinner recipe demonstration
Meeting 3: Meal Planning, Budget Grocery Shopping, Healthy frozen treat recipe demonstration
Meeting 4: Establishing Healthy Habits, Reducing added sugars, Veggie Pasta salad demonstration
Each course includes healthy recipe demonstrations and helpful digital guides, and are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings during the first two weeks of November.
