This engaging workshop introduces you to the art and precision of using a lathe to create elegant wooden pens. Guided by a skilled instructor, you'll explore the entire process, from selecting premium wood blanks to turning, sanding, and finishing your pen. Learn the intricacies of lathe operation, gain hands-on experience with shaping techniques, and discover tips for achieving a smooth, professional finish. Perfect for beginners and seasoned woodworkers alike, this class combines creativity with craftsmanship to help you produce a personalized, functional writing instrument that’s both beautiful and uniquely yours. Join us and craft a timeless pen that’s a pleasure to use and a joy to create!

All supplies and instructions are included. Price is per item. Many different styles to choose from. You can also engrave it by using our laser engravers, if you desire.

Minimum age of 10 years and up with a minimum height requirement of 4 foot 6 inches. Due to the nature of the machinery, no horseplay will be tolerated. Safety waiver will be required before entry.

Fab Lab Dress Code- Please wear comfortable, fitted, casual clothing and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes. Gym or tennis shoes – NO SANDALS or FLIP FLOPS. Loose clothing and jewelry are not permitted for safety purposes and long hair must be secured.
