WHAT IS A VISION BOARD?

A vision board is a way of organizing your hopes, dreams, and ideas for the next year and setting a vision and intention for the year to come. Some people make a vision board that is limited to a particular area of life (health and wellness, love, career, relationships, family, etc.) Some people choose to make them with a more general focus. I've been making them for years and each one has been different and meant something different to me.

You can google "vision board" and go down a whollllllle rabbit trail about them. This workshop will guide you through my own particular "recipe" for a good vision board that's based on the Spirit + art + a little bit of magic.

WHAT'S THE FORMAT OF THE TIME?

GATHER: getting settled, organizing our materials: 10ish minutes

GUIDELINES: I'll give some loose guidlines and tips for creating your board along with some examples: 15ish minutes

CENTERING: lighting a candle, taking some deep breaths: 5ish minutes

CREATING: You'll have a full 60 minutes with your camera off/sound off to make your board. Please see below for materials you should have at the ready.

SHARING: We'll break you up into random groups of 4-5 people for a time of sharing as much (or as little) of your board as you feel you want to share. 25ish minutes

S ENDING: I'll send you out into the world with some candles, some glitter, a blessing and lots of warm fuzzies. 10ish minutes.

WHAT MATERIALS DO I NEED?

The sky is the limit with vision boards, but the most essential items for a physical vision board are:

1. the board itself (It can be as big as a poster board or a small as an 8.5x11. I recommend something sturdy like watercolor paper or posterboard.

2. If you can get your hands on a few magazines, I recommend that as well, but no need to spend a lot of money on them. Ask around. Dumpster dive. See what you can scrounge up. The best magazines for vision boards are Oprah's (obvs!), Real Simple, Yoga mags, and nature mags. (If you can't get magazines, notice pictures and quotes that inspire you in the next couple of weeks, do a google image search, and print them out.) Note: this year I've also included a printable PDF you'll get after you purchase your ticket. Link will be in the email from Eventbrite.

3 . Glue, tape, glue stick, or mod podge.

4 . Scissors

If you have those four items, along with a pen or marker, you'll be set.

Other (optional) items (for the super artsy craftsy types) include:

  • glitter
  • markers, glitter pens, paint
  • favorite quotes
  • colored paper or other paper scraps
  • photos
  • wrapping paper scraps

To make a digital board (I'll walk you through this process, too!) You need only a Canva account and some basic familiarity with Canva as well as the PDF that comes with your ticket.

Other (optional) things to bring to the workshop: Something to drink and snack on while you work, a candle, headphones.

Wear something cozy and treat the time like a gift to yourself, because it is!

HOW MUCH DOES THIS WORKSHOP COST?

  • Regular tickets are $33 and include the downloadable guide (Treasure Box Tuesday Subscribers, check your email for a discount code)
  • Bring a friend tickets are $50 and are for two people (You will need the name and email address of the friend at the time of registration.)

IS THIS A RELIGIOUS EVENT?

We’ll be approaching vision boards as a spiritual practice.
I’ll reference the Divine, the Universe, and the deep wisdom that moves beneath our lives. You’re welcome to bring your own spiritual language, teachers, and traditions into the space—whatever helps you feel grounded, connected, and fully yourself.

Everyone’s welcome at this party.

TELL ME ABOUT THE SHARING TIME... CAN I BE IN A GROUP WITH MY FRIENDS?

I'll give some guiding questions for the sharing time for you to share with randomly assigned humans. You can choose to share as much or as little as the Spirit moves you. I encourage you to share your vision board with trusted friends, mentors, and guides as well.

WHAT'S THE COACHING AND DIRECTION ADD ON?

This year I’m offering a limited number of 1:1 Coaching & Direction add-on sessions.
This is a 45-minute clarity conversation with me (Traci Smith). You’ll bring your completed board, share what it means to you, and together we’ll explore your vision and direction for 2026.

To reserve your spot, simply select this add-on at checkout.
Your 1:1 session will be scheduled through a separate link sent on or before the day of the workshop.

WILL IT BE RECORDED?

No -- this is a live event, not recorded.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the workshop.
Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so your refund will include the ticket price only.

After that window, tickets are non-refundable.
If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another person at no cost.

Add-on Coaching Sessions
1:1 Coaching & Direction sessions are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can’t use your session, you may give it to someone else or apply it to a future offering.
