Scrapbooking/Journal PAPER CRAFTS! This isn't just about glue and paper—it's about storytelling. It's about taking those fleeting moments, the laughter, the adventures, the big milestones, and turning them into a beautiful, tangible legacy. In this class, we're not just making a book; we're crafting a time capsule of your life, a work of art that you and your family can hold, share, and cherish for generations.

When: Join us Tuesday, December 9th from 5-7 p.m.

Where: Kirtland Community College, Grayling, Enter through Main Entrance

Learning Level for this class: Beginner; Ages 18 and up

What you will learn in this class:

Mastering essential tools: You'll get hands-on experience using a paper trimmer, corner rounder, and circle punch.

The art of adhesion: Discover the right craft glue for every project and how to use it effectively.

Paper power: Explore different types of cardstock and learn which ones are best for your crafting needs.

Design: Explore fun techniques, vibrant papers, and decorative embellishments that will make your memories pop off the page.

What you’ll complete by the end of the class: Your choice, 2-page scrapbook layout OR small folio journal

Supplies that are provided:

Paper trimmer; corner rounder; circle punch; craft scissors; self-healing craft mat and ruler; scoring tool and stylus tool; burnishing (bone folder) tool

Print and Have Ready

4-6 quantity – a few favorite photos

Size of the photos can be either 1 quantity 5x7 and 3-4 quantity that are 4x6; or 4-6 quantity that are 4x6 size

What you can bring from home:

Inspirational family / travel / friend pictures; ribbon, lace, twine, stretchy cord, cotton yarn or fancy fuzzy multi colored fibers; washi tape; dainty chains, dainty baubles, small jewels (smaller than pinky fingernail for example – in order to be proportional to finished folio)
