Learn to be a peacemaker!
This fun, interactive workshop sponsored by the Alternatives to Violence Project uses our life experiences, hands-on exercises and games to explore how to respond peaceably in situations where injustice, frustration and anger can lead to aggression and hostility.
This 3-session program is also a first step in training to lead peace programs in your community.
This AVP workshop focuses on:
• Understanding why conflict happens
• Managing strong feelings such as anger and fear
• Building healthy relationships with others
• Communicating well in difficult situations
• Being true to yourself while respecting others
