All you need is internet access, and a willingness to learn! No prior coding or publishing experience is required. Whether you're a beginner or looking to elevate your skills, this bootcamp meets you where you are.

What’s the format and time commitment?

The 8-day hybrid experience includes two live virtual sessions (Kickoff + Graduation), two design/panel labs, and self-paced learning days with peer feedback. Each evening session runs from 6:30 PM–8:30 PM EST. Sunday is self-guided with no Zoom call.

What kind of final project will I create?

You’ll develop an article of your choice topic. Selected participants will be published in the Fall 2025 edition of the Unlocked Digital Journal.

Is there a cost to attend? Will I receive a certificate?

Accepted Answer

This edition is free of charge for accepted participants! Graduates will receive a certificate of completion, and top articles will earn editorial coaching, publication, and potential cash or digital awards.
