Spend a soulful day in Napa crafting with intention and honoring the cultural traditions of Alabama’s Black Belt region. Join us for a hands-on workshop led by the incredible Betty Anderson of the Camden Shoe Shop and Quilt Museum. Throughout the day, you’ll learn to make traditional lye soap, distill lavender essential oil, and craft your own candles and room sprays. After a nourishing farm-style lunch, settle in for a powerful afternoon workshop creating a “Women of Gee’s Bend” heritage doll—a tribute to the stories and spirit of Wilcox County.
This is a unique opportunity to learn heritage arts passed down through generations and connect with a community of creatives under the Napa sun. All materials provided—just bring yourself and a willingness to get inspired!
