Crafting a Year-End Giving Strategy

Presented by Katherine Delaney & Kimberly Goodis

Did you know that nearly one third of all annual giving occurs in December?

Learn how to successfully leverage the giving season to support your next arts-based project!

Join NYFA staff Katherine Delaney, Director of Development, and Kimberly Goodis, Senior Officer, Individual Giving and Special Events, for a workshop on the basics of individual and end-of-year giving. You will leave the evening armed with the tools needed to manage your own annual appeal and fundraise more effectively. The presentation will explore the best strategies and industry practices for:

  • Cultivating and approaching new donors

  • Retaining current donors and increasing their engagement

  • Organizing a successful year-end campaign

Date and Time: Wednesday, September 26, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Location: New York Foundation for the Arts, 20 Jay Street, Suite 740, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Cost: $15 for NYFA-affiliated artists (Fiscally Sponsored, NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellows, Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program Artists, and “Made in NY” Women’s Fund Recipients) and $20 for the general public.

Presented by:  Katherine R. Delaney, CFRE, Director of Development, New York Foundation for the Arts and Kimberly Goodis, Senior Officer, Individual Giving and Special Events, New York Foundation for the Arts

This presentation is designed for artists, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and arts organizations who are cultivating individual donors. If you are interested in offering donors the benefit of a tax deduction this giving season, learn more about NYFA’s Fiscal Sponsorship program on our website. Our next no-fee application deadline is September 30.
